It’s Okay!

Today was one of those days.  I was frustrated, stressed, and just didn’t feel like parenting.  At first, I felt bad, but that feeling subsided.  I knew that with every tear that I cried, a release was happening.  It was exactly what I needed. So, I sat with my bowl of ice cream, cried my tears, and returned to my mothering duties.

Parents must know that it is absolutely okay to take a moment and feel your feelings.  It’s okay not to want to parent 24/7.

Today I needed a break, and I’m okay with that!
